Balagne has a musical heritage of exceptional richness, rooted in centuries-old traditions of sharing and orality. Entitled A Strada Musicale, this application accompanies you in music on the very places which testify of this sound activity: canti sacri (sacred songs) in the churches, tribbiere (threshing of the wheat) on the aghje (areas with wheat) ... etc.
It is based on 90 points distributed throughout the territory, identified by a specific signage and to which a sound background specific to each, has been associated. *
The explanatory texts, on the monument and on the sound archive, will enable you to understand the adequacy between places and sounds.
You can download the Strada Musicale application in advance to access the list of highlighted sites and music content even if the internet connection is not possible, as it is the case on some sites.

*: Strada Musicale is the result of a collaboration between the Tourism Agency of Corsica, the Tourist Office Intercommunal Calvi Balagne, bearer of the tourist signage and the brand Balanines Encounters, and the Voce Musical Creation Center for the provision of sound archives from their media library and accessible from the Repertorium site.
This project was realized thanks to VIVIMED which is a European project of cross-border cooperation between Sardinia, Liguria, Tuscany, Corsica and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, financed for the period 2014-2020, under the Program Interreg-Marittimo-IT FR-MARITIME.
