The Reina-Valera Antigua Bible was first translated and published in 1569 by Casiodoro de Reina in Basel, Switzerland after twelve years of intense work for the first Spanish Bible. The translation is based on the original Greek and Hebrew text and also includes the deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament.
