About Mushaf Al-Madinah

When we look at the spread of the Koran today, we are reminded of the services of Amirul Mukminin Uthman bin Affan and parties from among the friends of radhiyallahu 'anhum who were involved in this mega project. The fi sabilillah project is very extraordinary and until now we can get the benefits. Just imagine, if you had to read it from separate surahs, palm fronds, leaves, skin, bones, and stones... hadeuh! Be grateful, if the Koran that exists today has been collected in the best possible order by the team appointed by the Caliph directly at that time.
This al-Madinah manuscript is an Ottoman manuscript which refers to the qira'ah history of Imam Hafs bin Sulaiman bin al-Mughirah al-Asadi al-Kufi, one of the recognized qira'ah imams. The writing of hijaiyah letters in this manuscript refers to the history of the expert scholars of rasm (Arabic script writing) based on a number of main manuscripts and their copies. Among them were Abu Amr ad-Dani and Abu Dawud Sulaiman bin Najah. With this method, each hijaiyah letter in this manuscript corresponds to the hijaiyah letter written in the previous main manuscripts. The placement of dabt (punctuation marks) in this manuscript refers to the method of dabt expert scholars. Among them is the imam at-Tanasi with his book at-Tiraz 'ala Dabt al-Kharraz. While the form follows the formulation of Imam al-Khalil bin Ahmad and his students who are widely spread in Islamic countries in the Eastern hemisphere.
AHLUL QUR'AN IS SPECIAL
A reader of the Qur'an (Qori) has a special reward in the form of multiple benefits, don't you want to achieve that too? Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,
"Indeed, those who always read the book of Allah and establish prayers and spend part of the sustenance that We bestow on them secretly and openly, they hope for a trade that will not lose money." (Letter of Fathir: 29-30)
Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
"Whoever reads 1 letter from the book of Allah, for him 1 goodness. 1 kindness will be multiplied by 10. I don't say 'alif laam miim' is 1 letter, however, Alif is 1 letter, Laam is 1 letter and Miim is 1 letter." (Narrated by at-Tirmidhi)
