Sungrass was born 4 years ago, filling a void that is more than evident in the market for decorative artificial grass in Europe, in which Chinese-made grass has been gaining ground due to its low cost.
The main producers of yarn such as TenCate Grass, Bonar, etc. and the factories they supply, remain stagnant in yarn design and finished decorative product, and it is the Asian market, which with very competitive prices, yarn designs very apparent and finished products with a large number of stitches, which manages to take over the artificial grass market in Europe.
Driven by the crisis, they make us forget the main thing, QUALITY. Both the distribution companies, thanks to the ease of importing containers, and many European manufacturers buying Asian yarn to be competitive, make what reaches the end customer a mediocre product. This had to be changed!
It is then that a young team but with extensive experience of more than 10 years in the sector joins with one of the main European thread manufacturers and the two main companies in sewing quality, to give shape to the SUNGRASS project.
At Sungrass we are passionate about our work and we do not stop researching and developing new materials, because each of the models we develop is born from an innovative idea and a very careful design that will make it unique.
All the products developed by Sungrass are made of polymers of the highest quality that are extruded using the latest technology, guaranteeing the stability and excellence of our products, made 100% in Europe and free of lead and cadmium.
