The "GfK Digital Trends App" only works if you are participating in the "GfK Digital Trends" project in Germany and have previously received a corresponding activation code from GfK.
The “GfK Digital Trends App” measures internet television usage (“streaming”) on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
Here GfK receives e.g. B. Information about which websites you visit or which apps you use. The usage data measured by the app is transmitted from your mobile device to GfK, processed anonymously and used for evaluation purposes. However, only information from the measured usage data that is of interest for television audience research is used for analyses. This applies above all to the use of moving images (e.g. use of online video streaming and media libraries). Information on other internet usage processes is not included in this analysis. Contents of SMS or e-mails are not recorded under any circumstances!
