Cilj mobilne android aplikacije "Zmije Crne Gore" je da na moderan, široko dostupan, inovativan i lako razumljiv način upozna najširu populaciju sa 15 vrsta zmija koje žive na teritoriji Crne Gore, od kojih su samo tri vrste otrovne (poskok, šarka i šargan), a dvanaest je neotrovnih (ribarica,bjelouška,leopard smuk, šumski smuk, stepski smuk, mrki smuk, četvoroprugasti smuk, balkanski smuk, smukulja, mačkooka zmija, šilac, crvolika sljeparica)
U Crnoj Gori zmije su zakonom zaštićene i krivično je djelo ubiti ih.
Projekat pod nazivom – Približimo herpetologiju građanima – „Prepoznaj – ne ubijaj!“, u okviru kojeg je razvijena mobilna android aplikacija „Zmije Crne Gore“, sprovodi nevladina organizacija Ekološko udruženje mladih „Zeleni centar“, a podržan je od strane Ministarstva prosvjete, nauke, kulture i sporta – sektor nauke.

The goal of the Snakes of Montenegro mobile android application is to, in a modern, widely accessible, innovative and easy-to-understand way, acquaint the widest population with 15 species of snakes that live in the territory of Montenegro, of which only three species are venomous (Nose-horned viper, European adder and Meadow viper) and twelve are non-venomous.
Snakes are protected by law in Montenegro, and killing them is a criminal offence.
The project called - Let's bring herpetology to the citizens - "Recognize - don't kill!", as part of which the mobile android application "Snakes of Montenegro" was developed, is implemented by the non-governmental organization Ecological Youth Association "Green Center", and is supported by the Ministry of Education, science, culture and sports - department of science.
