The B-Watch application was created at the initiative of the non-governmental organization "Oceanic Club" Society of Oceanographic Explorations and Protection of the Marine Environment of Constanța and OMV Petrom Romania.
It aims to permanently improve and update the knowledge related to the conservation status of vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered species in the natural areas of the Natura 2000 network in which OMV Petrom operates. With the help of images and descriptions, the species belonging to the classes of vertebrate animals (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals) present in the standard bookings of the Natura 2000 network in Romania can be identified and their presence can be reported.
Exclusively for this purpose, the application will automatically collect the following data of the terminal used by you: date, time, GPS position.
