About WiFi Radar Sensor
This app supports the OmniPreSense Radar OPS243 sensor with a WiFi interface. The app is used to connect the sensor to your WiFi network, visualize the data, or change the configuration of the sensor. This allows remote placement of the OPS243 radar sensor for applications such as vehicle or people traffic monitoring, security, water level sensing, autonomous vehicle, or other IoT applications.
The OPS243 is a 2D radar sensor reporting the speed and range to objects detected in its field of view. It can detect vehicles up to 60m (200 ft.) away or people at 15m (15 ft.). The sensor can be easily configured via the app to report in various units (mph, kmh, m/s, m, ft, etc.) and report rates from 1Hz to 50Hz+.
The OPS243 is available from the OmniPreSense website (www.omnipresense.com) or its worldwide distributor, Mouser.
We fixed issues in compatibility with the 243A sensor in version 1.0.1 of this app. Going forward, you can join our open testing track by visiting https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.omnipresense.WiFiRadarSensor and signing up. We pause the open testing track when the public store release is the best release available.
