Swedish Cultural Heritage is working to increase interest in Swedish history and heritage.
We want to make accessible Sweden's cultural heritage in a modern and attractive manner so that all generations have the opportunity to take part of Sweden's cultural treasures. We also want to make visible the cultural heritage in a way that stimulates pleasurable learning for children and
young.
To reach the younger generation and also to package the country's cultural heritage to a material for all ages Swedish Cultural Heritage developed app culture.
The project is also Postcode Lottery Cultural Foundation. The app is free and consists of historical material in the form of films, texts, pictures and quizzes from different cultural heritage sites around Sweden.
The development of the app has been made with teachers, students and experts in the fields of communication and game development.
Culture can be used on a smartphone or tablet - at school, at home, on the road or on any of the sites. In this way, young people in an entertaining and fun way to take part of our cultural treasures while the app can serve as a support to teachers in the classroom.
The app can of course be used for all ages and has something to offer, regardless of age.
