This mobile application i.e. NDRI Climate Services is developed by a group of scientists of ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal namely Sanjit Maiti, Manjunath KV, Sanchita Garai, Goutam Mondal, Anjali Aggarwal, Mukesh Bhakat and K. S. Kadian. This application is developed under a research project i.e. “Development of Climate Services for Murrah Buffalo farmers of Haryana” with the objective to provide district specific weekly climate advisory services to the Murrah buffalo farmers based on the climatic parameters. There are two types of information in this application viz. static and dynamic. Static information is on climate resilient livestock rearing practices with special emphasis on Murrah buffalo which is further divided into thermal stress management, feeding management, healthcare management, fodder management etc. Dynamic information is on climatic parameters based advisory services for the Murrah buffalo farmers.
