About El Buen Gusto

Our company was born in the municipality of Ventaquemada, Tierranegra sector, in 1982 under the name "EL KIOSKO" and is the result of a joint effort by Jacobo Rodríguez and Fabiola Espinosa, a married couple from Boyacá of peasant origin, natives of the same municipality. The work capacity of this couple, possessors of the fundamental knowledge of customer service and the traditional recipes inherited from their ancestors, together with the entrepreneurial spirit of their children, made this family micro-enterprise change its name to "Arepas and Wrapped Good Taste”, since as its name indicates, we make delicious traditional Boyacá doughs of the highest quality, starting from the selection of the best raw materials, the use of Boyacense labor and the application of the most appropriate manufacturing processes. Our production line is based on corn, offering our visitors products such as Arepas, Wraps, Pan de yuca, Garullas and almojábanas, as well as cheeses, sandwiches, yogurts and many more delicacies ready to share and taste.
Arepas and Wrapped Good Taste, in addition to being an employment and economic development alternative for the region, works to safeguard and enjoy Boyacá's cultural, intangible and gastronomic heritage. Today it is positioned as one of the best commercial companies in the department and with the aspiration of becoming known nationally and internationally.
