WaWord is the app that allows you to get in touch with other cancer patients being treated, chronic or cured who are experiencing a similar situation.
A nickname, an email and a password are sufficient to create the profile. Registration requires a few simple information and is simplified by a drop-down menu with the various options to be entered.
The app has basic and extremely simplified functions, so as to facilitate its usability. The user has four tabs available: Bulletin Board, Search, Chat, Profile.
In the Dashboard users can view useful information and warnings entered by moderators.
The Search function allows you to find other users to contact. From this window it is possible to select the diagnostic profile of interest. The insertion of the requested features is simplified by a drop-down menu that includes different options. Following the search, a list of users with a profile similar to the one being searched is displayed. By selecting the individual user it is possible to view their diagnostic profile and decide whether to contact them.
The Chat window collects the private chats activated with the various users contacted. It is possible to send messages to other users using text.
The Profile is the screen that summarizes the user's profile, from where it is possible to update the various items and, possibly, insert a customized description or link.
