Radio SUN Oy has started its operations in 1983. Its first local radio was Radio Satahäme, which started its first commercial radio stations in 1985. Currently, the company operates not only SUN Radio but also the FUN Tampere radio channel in the Tampere region at 89.0 MHz and SUN Classics. In Helsinki at 102.8 MHz. Radio SUN Oy is a wholly-owned and purely Dutch-owned company.
