The Salomé Ureña Higher Teacher Training Institute - ISFODOSU, through its Digital Content Development Unit, has the pleasure of presenting the digital didactic resource “Nuestra Dominicanidad”. The main objective of this audiovisual and interactive material is to serve as support to teachers, students and the general public in their interest to know and identify the different historical-social processes that have served as the basis for the conformation of our national identity and especially its most important feat embodied in National Independence.
This material promotes historical awareness, valuing and recognizing the participation of the different men and women who fought for our independence, in the same way it seeks to strengthen the cognitive competencies raised in our curriculum and promote the great value that our national symbols represent: flag, shield and national anthem, in the construction of a positive citizen conscience and proud Dominicanness.
“Nuestra Dominicanidad” is an active, living element and in permanent update in order to contribute effectively to the efforts to strengthen and improve our national educational system.
