The CNC Channel Medellín was created in 2003 as the Local Channel of the subscription television company, Cable Unión de Occidente.
After several years, the company CABLE UNION consolidated its position as the largest provider of cable television service in the southwest of the country and decided to give more strength to local channels nationwide, hosting them under a single brand: CNC CHANNEL.
Since then the CNC Channels nationwide, began to look for unity and identity in their programming, arriving in June 2006 to broadcast in all the municipalities where there was CABLE UNION daily and simultaneously the news CNC NEWS.
