The objective of the APP is to educate consumers on the quality of the so-called poor and lagoon fish and on the fish products raised, as well as on the difference between locally produced fish and imported fish, as well as to enhance the qualitative and nutritional characteristics of local products and their sustainability "OPEN DAY of the LAG" has been implemented in the main coastal towns of the Gargano area. Entire days in which moments of social and cultural vitality were realized that involved the local communities and tourists who reach our coasts every year, with the realization of information interventions, as well as demonstrations of the blue economy with the realization of long boat excursions the coast / lagoon to learn about the work of fishermen / fish farmers and promote the opportunities deriving from diversification of fishing activities, as well as guided visits to the main attractors of fishing villages and, finally, taste itineraries dedicated to the promotion of local fish products with an evening show cooking, that is a guided cooking demonstration that aims at the recovery of ancient flavors and the enhancement of typical and sometimes "forgotten" recipes of the GAL area, as well as spreading the knowledge of the excellent quality and healthiness of the local fish.
