Near future. Big companies are in a constant state of conflict. Cyber and physical attacks are the order of the day and security standards are the first and last bastion of defense. In this scenario, Zenit Industries is at the top of the food chain and, therefore, always at the center of the target.
To better defend themselves, they have formed a team of experts who are responsible for disseminating the logical and physical security standards of the corporate ecosystem. There is only one problem: the Shadow, a criminal organization that has targeted the company and its employees.
The daily fight is close but, no matter how much effort the team makes, the Shadow is always one step ahead, as if he could predict the moves of his objectives. The managers begin to suspect that there is a mole, that an agent of the organization is hiding among the champions of corporate protection.
Among the employees, the managers identify Simone, a capable boy and, according to their research, clean. Out of the range of influence that the Shadow seems to exercise within Zenit Industries. And Simone is entrusted with the task of making his way through the daily objectives and more personal conversations, until he identifies the mole and foils the threat to Zenit Industries.
As in an Agatha Christie novel, anyone could be the culprit.
To subvert expectations, as the leads and motives increase, we will introduce crumbs left by the Shadow itself, until the final revelation: Simone has never been an employee of Zenit Industries, nor has he ever joined the task force. What he experienced was nothing but an enormous simulation. A test orchestrated precisely by the Shadow.
The story closes with a heartbroken but determined Simone: now he knows what he has to do. Dedicate the rest of his life to hinder the future projects of the criminal organization.
