Action on Poverty (AOP) is an Australian non-governmental organization empowering local people to make changes in the community and escape chronic poverty.
AOP has been operating in Vietnam since 1989 and is Australia's first non-governmental organization to open a representative office in Vietnam. Here, AOP is known as a pioneer organization implementing community-based biological control programs to prevent dengue. From public health, AOP has expanded its activities into agriculture, clean water and sanitation, food security, climate change, livelihoods and governance.
