About Live Assemblies

Pnyka ("Puh-nee-ka") is a communication and analytics platform for communities to talk constructively about important issues. Using our structured forums called “Assemblies,” individuals engage in positive and productive conversations focused on learning, not debate.

Community leaders rely on our analytics to understand different views on issues discussed and for actionable takeaways. High schools, universities, churches, businesses, and cities use Pnyka because they are looking for something that goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is learning, being heard, and most of all treated with respect.

Pnyka “Assembles” are closed community and structured forums where leaders and members openly discuss key issues impacting your community. Assemblies are:

Balanced: Each assembly has six to eight community members who represent “pro”, “con” and “unsure” viewpoints on a specific topic. This ensures various viewpoints will be represented in each conversation

Structured: A pre-assembly process helps you sign up for discussion topics, reflect, and share your motivations with fellow community members.

Flexible: We know you’re busy! These conversations are timed to work with your schedule. That means you have time to jump in, read others' comments, and share your own.

Learning: Don't forget these conversations are focused on learning. After the conversation, you will be asked to summarize what you learned for your fellow community members.
