Journey Log enables you to keep track of your journeys.
After signing in and enabling journey recording, the app will start to automatically record journeys in the background to construct a driver journal. Once the journey is completed it will show up in the app. One can filter journeys based on dates or categories to make it easier to find past journeys up to 12 months. Journey Log's export functionality enables you to export your driver journal with filtered views to CSV/xls files and obtain it in an email. The app shows the journey details like the distance driven, energy consumption, odometer readings, timestamps, and addresses of the start and end locations. A map of the journey with the waypoint trail is also shown. Journeys can be categorized as business, private, or commute. Up to 15 single journeys can be merged together and the journey information is automatically updated. A merged journey can be unmerged to get back the single journeys.
You need to have a Google ID to sign in to the app. The same Google ID is used to record the user's journey and send the driver journal export. A user will not be able to access the journeys of other users using the same car while accessing the app from his/her profile.
A journey recording starts when the car gear is put in drive mode (D). The Journey ends when the car is put in parking mode (P). The app presents messages on the journey recording to the notification bar. Journeys less than 1 km are not shown in the app or journey export. Please always check if you get notifications from the app whenever you undertake any journey.
Note: Software version 2.9 or higher is required to see odometer readings in the journeys. For versions 2.8 or less, the odometer readings will be shown as 0.
