The free Go4Bike application is a combination of proven bike routes and a base of cultural resources of western Masovia.
Dedicated both to the inhabitants of the region and tourists, it offers a wide array of interactive maps with detailed descriptions of routes along with multimedia content - presentations, virtual panoramas, audio-guides or unique photographs.
Go4Bike has several dozen ready-to-use ideas for spending time actively, and at the same time the users of the app can visit interesting, so far undiscovered places. A large base of objects with numerous descriptions and digitalised materials constitute attractive proposals for bike trips.
The functions of the app include viewing the routes, places and local events, which can be saved on your account in the form of a planner or you can download the gpx marks directly to your device. The navigation combined with an audio-guide will guide users step-by-step through noteworthy objects located along the route. The Go4Bike app can also be used through the web browser and in the offline mode.
The application aggregates information from six communes of western Warsaw district: Błonie, Izabelin, Leszno, Łomianki, Ożarów Mazowiecki and Stare Babice. All of them are located in the area covered by the Strategy of Integrated Territorial Investments of the Warsaw Functional Area.
The project has been carried out by the Polish Heritage Foundation and it is co-financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) under the Regional Operational Programme of the Masovia Province 2014 - 2020.
