For less than 50c a day for the average household, Powerclub gives Members access to energy at wholesale rates. Because wholesale energy prices fluctuate, Powerwatch is designed to give you more control by alerting you of high prices and advising you of ways to minimise your usage during those times. Armed with more knowledge and choice, Powerclub Members have the power to exploit the wholesale market by using energy when it’s cheap and avoiding excess usage when it’s more expensive, potentially saving hundreds of dollars on their annual electricity bills.

Powerwatch has four notification levels based on the wholesale market price in your State. When the cost of electricity goes above any of these levels, you will receive a notification with tips to help you reduce your usage (and your power bill). Price spikes typically don’t last very long so it’s important to act fast when they do.
