The German Aerospace Center (DLR) in cooperation with the publisher Klett MINT publishes a series of teaching materials, some of which are also available as digital learning media.
"With astronauts into space" is a very special issue of the series DLR_School_Info: It invites students to a fascinating journey to the International Space Station! The magazine was published on the occasion of the second ISS mission of German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst. It is in cooperation with the German Physical Society (DPG) and the foundation Jugend forscht e. V. appeared.
The booklet "Earth and Moon" deals with our own planet and its satellites. It provides basic knowledge about the genesis and structure of the two celestial bodies. The current issue has been published as a special issue for the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo moon landing. The booklet was published in cooperation with the Schülerforschungszentrum Südwürttemberg in Bad Saulgau (SFZ).
Space travel inspires many young people. The fascination of this topic can be wonderfully used to arouse and increase interest in scientific and technical subjects. The booklets are available in print form and as a digital learning medium with numerous additional materials. They are aimed at the 3rd to 6th grade and are available free of charge.
