The Reinickendorfer Allgemeine Zeitung, in short "RAZ", is a politically and economically independent newspaper for the Berlin district of Reinickendorf. It appears weekly in alternation of a full and a compact edition. The objective is to report on municipal issues in politics, administration, economy, education, sport and culture as well as to create an information forum for citizens, associations and traders in Reinickendorf.

Why does the app need permissions?
The app must be able to access the memory (SD card) of a mobile device in order to save or delete the e-paper PDFs there at the request of the user (!). The app offers push notifications about what's new, so it may need access to the messaging service on your phone or tablet, and may - depending on your setting - interrupt a sleep state with an alert (for example, a vibration alert). Because offline offers are also available, the app also checks whether there is a network connection, so you are connected to the Internet and connects if necessary.
