This application is used by the Employee(Technician) of our company. Main Objective of this application is to take reading value from the electricity meter and submit to Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC).
One of the important feature of this application is it works with/without Internet.
Each Technician in our company will be assigned certain number of Accounts for Meter Reading Purpose. Details of the Account like Meter No, Customer Name, Contact etc will be given to Technician. Technician has to locate that Meter and take the Consumption reading value. Once the Meter Reader entered the reading value, it will be saved to excel file in the internal storage of the mobile. Technician should take the photo of the electricity meter (as a proof for reading value) which will be stored in Internal Storage. Later(when the internet is available) this excel and photo will be sent to MEDC Database. MEDC will verify the consumption reading value against the photo.
This app will capture the background location to locate the Electricity Meters as well as to track the technician. In Order to make sure if the employees are on-time to the field as well as to ensure their availability during working hours, this location tracking is highly needed by management people.
Access Required:
1. Internal Storage to save photo and reading value in Excel file.
2. Camera to take picture of the Electricity Meter.
3. GPS for tracking the Location of the Meter/Technician.
