Under the Korean medical law, even a general doctor who has not undergone an internship or residency can provide treatment for skin or plastic surgery.
It is not necessarily considered that general doctors lack medical knowledge, surgery, and procedure skills, but it is also reasonable to seek medical attention from a more reliable specialist at the same cost.
Therefore, our Prodoctors want to help consumers make rational choices by providing information on the ratio of specialists per hospital, directions, and phone calls.
▣ Reliable information
I use the data for the first quarter of 2021 provided by the “Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service”, a public institution under the Ministry of Health and Welfare. We will update it as soon as new data comes up!
▣ Proportion of specialists
I will calculate and display the ratio of the total number of doctors working in the hospital and the specialists in the treatment subject. If you are a hospital consisting of 100% specialists, no matter who you are treated, you can be treated by a specialist, right?!
▣ Search for hospitals near me
I will show hospital information around my location. The map also shows information about the proportions of specialists, and supports directions and dialing functions!
