Tool for data collection, dissemination of protection network services and minimizing the isolation of rural women in the state of Pernambuco in situations of violence.
This application was developed by students at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, under the coordination of professors Suzana Sampaio and Lorena Moraes, motivated by the lack of data on violence against rural women in the state of Pernambuco. The App has the following objectives:
- Map the profile of rural youth and women who have already suffered violence in the state of Pernambuco (age; race; ethnicity, marital status, etc.);
- Identify the types of violence suffered, who are the main aggressors and if the victims have made complaints;
- Provide information on addresses, telephone numbers and email of services of the protection network for victims of violence (police stations, CRAS, CREAS, CEAM, DEAM, etc.);
- Connect rural women with psychologists and lawyers for reception and referral;
- Enable a woman in a situation of emergency violence to request immediate help from one or more people she trusts.
