About ProsMets

To support collective restaurants in the creation of good and healthy meals, PROsMETs is developing a digital application based on artificial intelligence and the use of “culinary repositories”: Recipes created by chefs, enriched collaboratively by professionals health and a whole community of scientists.

Due to the particular context generated by Covid 19, PROMETS has chosen to use the first functionalities of the application now for the benefit of restaurants and individuals.

Also, it is now possible for an individual to complete a profile sheet in which he can mention his food allergies or intolerances, his lifestyle (omnivorous, vegetarian or vegan). Depending on this information, its geolocation or the city indicated, we offer a list of dishes that can be made by the referenced local restaurants. The consumer can then consult the exhaustive list of ingredients for each dish to ensure that they do not contain undesirable ingredients (where possible, we indicate the origin of the ingredients). He can book or pay for his meal online after specifying when he will come to collect it. The invoice is sent by email upon receipt of payment, followed by the notice of availability when the time comes.

The identification of dishes with professionals is based on the information contained in the consumer profile sheet. For restaurants, it is an opportunity to finely target the needs of its consumers, to offer a diversified diet to a public that does not necessarily frequent out-of-home catering and to safeguard a minimum of turnover in this period of turmoil. . In a spirit of support for restaurants, consumers are asked for a solidarity contribution of 5% of the price of the meal. This contribution is kept by PROsMETs as symbolic compensation.

The relevance of the proposed dishes being directly linked to the number of referenced restaurants to date, we really encourage restaurants to make themselves known (this service is free for them for the moment)… and we thank individuals for talking about our application.

This application will evolve significantly to gradually integrate new functionalities and new services (in particular for collective catering).
The goal of PROsMETs is ultimately to offer dishes based on the nutritional needs and expectations of diners. The application will take into account a greater number of food allergies and intolerances, pathology such as diabetes, possible states of undernutrition, a lifestyle of new dietary practices such as vegetarianism but also the physical characteristics of the guest.
