About Square On Top
I made Square On Top because I wanted a game that’s simple to control but still feels genuinely challenging. The whole idea is straightforward: you drag, hold, and jump from one platform to another while moving through different natural biomes. If you miss, you fall back and try again.
There’s nothing random in the game. No boosts, no shortcuts. Every jump depends only on your timing. When you finally reach a new biome after failing a bunch of times, it feels good because you actually earned it.
A few things you should know:
• the controls are intentionally minimal
• each biome changes the atmosphere a bit as you move up
• the difficulty ramps up only through timing
• the game runs smoothly even on older phones
• there’s a global leaderboard if you want to compare your best climb with others
If you enjoy games that test your patience and reward skill instead of luck, you might like this one. I hope you’ll give it a try and see how far you can climb.
