the lights are cool, I've had them since 2019 and used the app for convenience since shortly after I got them. now my remote is dying so I have to use the app, there's no other option, and for some reason the past week every time I open it I get full screen timed ad. it's not relevant, it's not helpful, I can't find a way to disable it, and it it doubles the time it takes me to turn my own lights on or off.
