About Resus

Resus is a real-time vital signs simulator designed for training healthcare professionals and teams in clinical and emergency scenarios. With an intuitive interface and multiparameter monitor fidelity, Resus offers:

======== Complete visualization of vital signs and waveforms accurately reproduced from a real monitor
- Heart rate (HR) - 12 models
- Oxygen saturation (SpO₂) - 4 models
- Invasive blood pressure (ABP) - 3 models
- Capnography (ETCO₂ and RR)

======== Pathology model library: A collection of pathological waveforms — including tachyarrhythmias, bradycardias, septic shock and cardiopulmonary arrest — that can be manually configured by the instructor. Through the action editor, it is possible to adjust physiological parameters and assemble any desired clinical situation, offering total flexibility to create and teach multiple scenarios.

======= Instructor-Student Mode: control your simulation remotely in a collaborative and real-time manner, using as many devices as you want, and transforming any training environment into an interactive and highly immersive experience.

======= Advanced life support and intervention tools
- Defibrillator: adjust energy, synchronization, discharge and shock.
- Pacemaker: set frequency and intensity for myocardial capture tests.
- CPR simulation integrated with ECG.

======= Special functions
- Medication administration for simulating boluses and continuous infusions that modify physiological parameters (e.g., response to adrenaline, vasopressors)
- Cardiac auscultation: provides heart sounds in 17 anatomical points, including normal and abnormal sounds, such as murmurs and extracardiac rhythms, to improve auditory assessment.
- Pulmonary auscultation: allows listening to respiratory sounds — 10 vesicular murmurs, rales and wheezes — in different lung zones to train diagnosis of respiratory pathologies. - X-rays: 31 integrated chest radiographic images, with overlaid anatomical structures and indications of pathologies, helping to correlate vital signs and imaging findings.
- Temperature control: manual adjustment of body temperature between 10 °C and 50 °C, with realistic fluctuations of up to 0.2 °C, to simulate hypothermia and fever and their hemodynamic repercussions.

======= Immersive interface: alarms and sounds
- Configurable alarms (audio and visual) for critical pressure, saturation and frequency limits, training priority management.
- Heartbeats, monitor beeps, defibrillator clicks and pacemaker beeps generated by real audio samples, increasing the realism and engagement of the scenario.

======= Detailed recording for debriefing
- Log of all events — parameter adjustments, interventions and patient responses — for performance analysis and training auditing.

======= Customizable scenarios and manual restart
- Adjustable parameters (such as body temperature, ventilation rate and medication doses) and a “reset” button to restart or change cases in seconds, optimizing the flow of sessions.

======= Compatibility and accessibility
- Lightweight application, available for Android phones and tablets, ensuring flexibility to train in any environment.

With Resus, your healthcare team trains with highly complex scenarios, increasing their learning capacity in clinical and emergency situation skills.
