The Qur'an has been the source of much knowledge among Muslims. Interpretation and Qur'anic sciences, such as the history of the Qur'an, the science of the words of the Qur'an, the science of the Arabs and the rhetoric of the Qur'an, the stories of the Qur'an and the miracles of the Qur'an are among these sciences.

Mohammad Siddiq Manshawi was one of the greatest Quran reciters in the Islamic world. His religion was Sunni Shafi'i. He was born in the village of Manshah in the province of Suhaj, Egypt. His father Siddiq Seyyed Manshawi and his brother Mahmoud Siddiq Manshawi, like Muhammad, were famous Quran reciters.
Due to the special sadness in the voice of Mohammad Siddiq Manshawi, he was nicknamed "Al-Bakiyeh Larynx" meaning weeping larynx.
Biography of Master Al-Manshawi
Manshawi managed to memorize the Qur'an at the age of eight, and at the age of nine he began reciting the Qur'an with his father in Suhaj circles and assemblies. The beauty of his recitation brought him so much fame that the fame of his recitations reached the ears of the radio officials at the time and they asked him to appear on the radio and recite for the jury and if successful, he would be allowed to recite on the radio, but He did not accept the request until, for the first time in the history of radio, Egyptian Radio sent its equipment and staff to record the recitation of the reciter. Mohammad Siddiq Manshawi's fame spread throughout Egypt and the Arab world by broadcasting his recitations on the radio.

He traveled to Indonesia, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Palestine (Al-Aqsa Mosque), Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Morocco, and Sudan to recite the Qur'an; He traveled to Indonesia in 1955 at the age of 35 with Abdul Basit Mohammad Abdul Samad.
