Ahimsa (nonviolence), Satya (truthfulness), Achaurya (non stealing), Brahmacharya (celibacy or chastity) and Aparigrah (non possession) are the five basic principles of Jainism. The principle of karma (action) is the founding pillar of Jain philosophy.
Whatever work we do is called “karma" in common parlance. Almost all religions in the world believe in the principle of Karma. Some people believe that Karma is an invisible force while some believe in the principle of what you reap what you sow through your Karma. The principle of karma is slightly different.
