Ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan 2023, it is known that the government will provide social assistance (Bansos) to eligible communities in the form of rice, eggs and chicken. The distribution of assistance during Ramadan is scheduled from March, April to May 2023.
Social assistance was recorded for 21.6 million beneficiary families (KPM), each of whom would receive 10 kilograms of rice assistance. Assistance is given directly for the next 3 months, especially to residents who receive the Family Hope Program (PKH) and non-cash food assistance (BPNT).
Social Assistance 2023 is still being distributed because it has become the mainstay of the government's program to address the problem of poverty in Indonesia. Communities who are registered to receive Social Assistance will begin to distribute it in April 2023.
