There are a lot of the word “Recycling” everywhere nowadays but some of us still don’t have enough information required to actually start to think that this process could benefit the planet earth and eliminate global warming.
Recycling In Greenwich app is a simple but informative android application that increase the awareness about recycling and also to deliver the day of bin collection for only Royal Borough of Greenwich UK at the moment. More boroughs would be included in the future updates.
When the user tap the search button from the home screen, users can enter the first 3 or 4 characters of their postcode to find the nearest town to them that they can choose from. Users can also choose their town manually by taping the Town List button. The back button at the top right can be used to conveniently navigate back to the previously viewed screen and this button can be found in every screen except for the home screen.
The Recyclable Items screen incorporates the list of items that can be recycled and which bins they are to be dropped in.
This app will function excellently with android versions from 1.5 to 2.3. It will work best with 2.1. Please rate and comment to help make this app better.
