the Refúgio das Bromélias, a private tourist facility, designed and managed by landscaper, electrician, guide and artisan Adinelson Dantas. The space was conceived in 1982, but was only opened to visitors in 2006. With a distance of approximately 200 meters from the main church of Santos Cosme e Damião, Refúgio das Bromélias presents important aspects for the tourist development of the city. In addition to being included in the itineraries promoted by the Secretary of Tourism of Igarassu, the attraction also welcomes tourists and visitors independently. This equipment provides an experience with nature, where various ecotourism activities are carried out, such as: ecological trail (light); experience of feeding the fish in the pond; knowledge of the local fauna and flora; access to the island of Refúgio das Bromélias and boat ride, in addition to coconut water tasting.
