About Golf RangeMate Pro

Range Mate - Pro is a golf practice utility for use at the range. The utility presents the golfer a variety of shot types to hit (i.e. from high draw to low fades). Using a slider bar, the bias for a particular type of shot can be specified that will increase the likelihood of the golfer being presented with that type of shot via the “Start” Button. Similarly, the golfer can add a club type bias that increases the likelihood of them being asked to hit a given shot with a particular type of club (i.e. Driver, Fairway Wood, Long Iron, Mid Iron and short Iron). While the initial club is randomly selected based on the club bias specified, the golfer can override the suggestion to specify what club they actually used using the “Club to Use” check boxes. The shot score can be captured by selecting the checkbox that represents that an item of shot technical (Line, Shape, Trajectory, Contact, and overall Result) and Non Technical (Pre Shot Routine, Mental Attitude and Basics (GAPS) (Grip Alignment Posture Sequence)) criteria was acceptable. Once the successful shot criteria have been selected the “Calc” button will determine the total shot score (will be displayed to the right of the “Calc” button) and save the shot record to the attached database. Each of the criteria is assigned a weighted score (some elements are more important than others with result being the most important). The maximum score for any shot is 10. A player will be given 3 attempts at a given shot after which a new shot will automatically be presented. If any shot has a score greater than or equal to 5 the shot will be deemed satisfactory and a new random shot will be presented (using any shape or club bias settings). By selecting the menu assigned to the 3 vertical dots at the top right corner of the screen the all shots in the database can be reviewed along with 3 different types of analysis (by Shot, Club, by shot and club). To return to the main screen select the back arrow/button at the bottom of your screen.
