WHAT IS A SCIENCE AND ART CENTER (BILSE)?
Science and Art Center is an independent special education center opened to provide support training at certain hours in order to develop and use their talents at the highest level to people who continue to formal education institutions and are identified as having special talents in the field of general talent (mental), visual arts or music. institution.
Science and Art Centers are not an alternative educational institution to the formal system, but an educational institution that supports formal education institutions.
WHAT CLASSES ARE TAKEN IN THE SCIENCE AND ART CENTER?
Every year, the Ministry determines which grade levels students will be admitted to the Science and Art Center. In line with the decision of the Ministry, in 2016-2017, 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes were diagnosed.
HOW DOES THE STUDENT PURCHASE PROCESS WORK?
In order to determine the talented people to be admitted to the Science and Art Centers, within the framework of the identification calendar determined by the Ministry every year, people from the grade levels determined by the Ministry are shown as candidates for special talents in the field of general talent (mental), visual arts or music, using the observation forms prepared by the Ministry.
Persons nominated as candidates are taken to the group screening exam prepared by the Ministry on a date determined by the Ministry.
According to the results of the group screening exam, individuals who pass the threshold points determined by the Ministry every year for each grade level throughout Turkey are taken into individual examination by certified experts. In the individual examination, a valid, reliable and standard intelligence test is applied to the individuals.
Persons who are nominated in the field of visual arts and/or music talent and who pass the threshold points determined by the Ministry every year for visual arts and music talent fields according to the results of the group screening exam are taken into individual examination in the field of visual arts and/or music talent by the Provincial Identification Commission.
According to the results of the individual examinations made in each of the three areas, the people who pass the Turkish threshold determined for each grade level and for each skill area are registered to the Science and Art Center.
