Blood diseases are a large and heterogeneous group of diseases accompanied by one or another violation of the functions or structure of certain blood cells - erythrocytes, leukocytes or platelets, or a pathological change in their number - an increase or decrease or change in the properties of blood plasma, as in monoclonal gammopathies.
The main groups of non-malignant diseases: anemia of various nature, diseases of leukocytes and platelets, hemorrhagic diseases, vasculitis, reactive lymphadenopathies, leukemoid reactions. Malignant diseases of the blood or hemoblastosis include acute leukemias, chronic myeloid leukemia, histiocytosis and lymphomas.
