Syafi'iyyah Al Falah Islamic Boarding School was established in 1942 by K. Soefjan Tsauri bin M. Aqna, then in 1980 the leadership of the pesantren was continued by his first son, KH Abdul Madjid Soefjan, S.Hi, Ma by bringing three priority scale programs namely improvement teaching methods, organizational control and improvement of facilities and infrastructure. To support the program, in 1985 a Foundation was established as a legal umbrella to maintain the continuity of pesantren. Alhamdulillah until the third period led by KH. Zainal Abidin S., This pesantren continues to guide and foster Muslims in the process of devotion to religion, the nation state with the principle of Lillahi Ta'ala.
