The portable Guardian Angel measures the distance to another Guardian Angel device and thus enables the wearer to meet safely in everyday life. The specially developed Infoportal app supports the secure transmission of distance measurement data from the portable guardian angel to a protected cloud storage location, with no personal or location-related user data being processed or stored. In addition, the data is transmitted anonymously without exception. The Infoportal app therefore only serves as a readout and transfer aid for the distance data stored on the Guardian Angel device. Likewise, the identity of the guardian angel bearer remains anonymous at all times, since the guardian angel followers only record encounters with one another, i.e. only the measured relative distance between two Guardian Angel devices is recorded. The ID number of the respective Guardian Angel device is recorded and stored, whereby this does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the wearer or his location. Users of the app have the option of anonymously reporting the ID number of their guardian angel device in the info portal, whereby no personal or location-related data is processed as this is not collected. In addition, there is neither a user registration nor a link. Thus, the app is used exclusively for information exchange and not for contact tracing.
