Assamese Language and Software Development Centre :
The Centre was set up in 2001 to help people use Assamese with ease like any other advanced languages of the globe.
It has so far published over 50 books including The First Assamese Software Dictionary besides developing a number of Language related Software.
The App contains three dictionaries published by the Centre earlier along with Official Dictionary, Scientific Terms, Phrases and Idioms, Synonyms, Antonyms etc. under 10 sections.

We are trying our best to make the information stored in the database of the App authentic, correct and of high quality. We will keep reviewing and updating the database along with incorporating new features into it.

The users will also be able to search a word or a subject offline in the App.

এইটো হৈছে, ‘অসমীয়া ভাষা আৰু ছফ্‌টৱেৰ বিকাশ কেন্দ্ৰ’ৰ তৰফৰ পৰা প্ৰকাশ পোৱা ‘অসমীয়া অভিধান এপ’৷
অসমীয়া ভাষাক বিশ্বৰ আগশাৰীৰ আন ভাষাসমূহৰ দৰে; সকলোৱে, সকলোতে, সহজে যাতে ব্যৱহাৰ কৰিব পাৰে; সেই উদ্দেশ্য আগত ৰাখিয়েই ‘অসমীয়া ভাষা আৰু ছফ্‌টৱেৰ বিকাশ কেন্দ্ৰ’ প্ৰতিষ্ঠা কৰা হৈছিল৷ এই কেন্দ্ৰৰ অধীনত ‘প্ৰথমখন অসমীয়া ছফটৱেৰ অভিধান’ (The First Assamese Software Dictionary) প্ৰকাশ পোৱাৰ লগতে ‘অনিল বৰুৱাৰ সহজ অসমীয়া ডিটিপি ছফটৱেৰ’ (Anil Baruah’s Easy DTP Software), ‘ই-শিক্ষা ছফটৱেৰ’ (e-Learning Software) আদিকে ধৰি বর্তমানলৈকে কেইবাটাও ভাষা সম্পর্কীয় ছফটৱেৰ তথা ৫০খনৰো অধিক গ্ৰন্থ প্ৰকাশ কৰা হৈছে৷

শেহতীয়াকৈ প্ৰকাশ কৰা এই ‘সাৰথি অসমীয়া অভিধান এপ’ (Saarathi Assamese Dictionary App)-ত ইতিমধ্যে ছফ্টৱেৰ তথা গ্ৰন্থ মাধ্যমত প্ৰকাশ পোৱা ৩খন বৃহৎ কলেৱৰৰ অভিধান (ক) আধুনিক ইংৰাজী-অসমীয়া অভিধান (খ) আধুনিক অসমীয়া-ইংৰাজী অভিধান (গ) সাৰথি অসমীয়া অভিধানৰ লগতে কার্যালয় অভিধান, বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম, ফকৰা-যোজনা, জতুৱা-ঠাঁচ, সমার্থক শব্দ, বিপৰীত শব্দ আদিকে ধৰি মুঠ ১০টা শিতান সন্নিৱিষ্ট কৰা হৈছে।

আন অভিধান এপৰ বিপৰীতে ‘সাৰথি অসমীয়া অভিধান এপ’ (Saarathi Assamese Dictionary App)-ৰ ডাটাবেছ (Database)-ত সন্নিৱিষ্ট তথ্যখিনি বিশ্বাসযোগ্য (authentic), শুদ্ধ তথা গুণগত দিশৰ পৰা উন্নত কৰিবলৈ সাধ্যানুসৰি চেষ্টা কৰা হৈছে৷ পর্যায়ক্ৰমে ডাটাবেছৰ তথ্যখিনি পুনৰীক্ষণ তথা সংশোধন কৰি বিভিন্ন সংস্কৰণযোগে update কৰি থকা হ’ব৷ তদুপৰি নতুন নতুন শিতান (Feature) সংযোজন কৰা হ’ব৷

এপটোৰ জৰিয়তে ব্যৱহাৰকাৰীয়ে কোনো শব্দ বা বিষয় নিমিষতে সম্পূৰ্ণ অফলাইন (OFFLINE)-যোগে serach কৰি চাব পাৰিব। অভিধানকেইখন App View আৰু BookView দুয়োটা মাধ্যমতে চাব পাৰিব৷ অর্থত সন্নিৱিষ্ট কোনো শব্দৰ অর্থ নুবিজিলে, সেই শব্দটোত press কৰি দিলে সেই শব্দটোৰ অর্থ Pop up Screen-ত দেখিবলৈ পাব৷ ইংৰাজী-অসমীয়া অভিধানৰ ইংৰাজী শব্দসমূহৰ (English Words) বিপৰীতে উচ্চাৰণ (pronounciation, Text to Speech) সন্নিৱিষ্ট কৰা হৈছে৷
