About Terjemah Injil Barnabas Bahasa

Two manuscripts are known to have existed, both dated to the late 16th century and written in Italian and Spanish respectively—though the Spanish text is now lost, the only surviving text is an incomplete 18th century transcript . The content of Barnabas is the same length as the four canonical Gospels that have been put together, with a storyline about the ministry of Jesus, many things that match this story are also found in the canonical Gospels. However, in several key respects, the content refers to the Islamic interpretation of Christianity and contradicts the teachings of the Christian New Testament.

This Bible is considered by most scholars, including Christians and some Muslims (such as Abbas el-Akkad) to be late and pseudopigraphed;[1] however, some scholars suggest that it may contain some remnants of an earlier apocryphal work (perhaps Gnostic,[2] Ebionite[3] or Diatessaronic[4]), which have been rearranged to bring it into line with Islamic doctrine. Some Muslims view this extant version as the original transmission of the persecuted twelve apostles. Several Islamic organizations cite it to support the Islamic view of Jesus.

The individual Barnabas himself was neither a direct disciple nor a member of the group of the first twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. He was a Jew from Cyprus who became a Christian because of the preaching of the Gospel by the apostles.
