SaferWells is a voluntary initiative to raise awareness of the risks of accidents in wells, following the Rayan tragedy in Morocco.
SaferWells users will be able to report the presence of a well using geolocation, add photos to facilitate exchanges and confirm whether the well is active or dry.
Indeed, we hope to see an awareness emerge on this subject and initiatives to implement signage on a well (for example a Danger sign), to fill dry wells with earth or sand, and to manufacture and install means of securing wells at risk.
Our initiative is completely voluntary. It is apolitical and has no intention of monetization.
