Cantonment Board Agra has been Established in the year 1805. It spreads over an area of 1156.474 hectares which includes civil area of 952.55 acres . Agra cantonment is administered by cantonment board for the municipal and development functions . Apart from the army, the board caters to the civil population of the cantonment numbering more than 42,869 which predominantly lives in various civil areas like sadar Bazar, Naulakha, Shahzadimandi, Sultanpura, Lalkurti, Pratappura, Nai Basti and partly in Bungalow area.
