The world today is known by the evolution of urbanization, the buildings by all these magnificent buildings and incredible constructions. But in parallel there are magnificent buildings built in earth with very adorable architectural aspects.
The Kasbah is a citadel of Berber architecture. The word 'Kasbah' has a very broad meaning. In each country, and even in each region, it is applied to a different construction: an isolated fort in fold in full companion and in full nature.
In southeastern Morocco, however, we generally speak of kasbahs when we want to designate a building with a square plan with four towers at the corners, built of raw earth and usually intended to house a family or to guard against invasions of enemies . This type of habitat is of Berber origin and in this language it is called tighremt.
The oldest casbahs date back to the 18th century, possibly to the 17th century, but most of them do not exceed a hundred years, because before that the population of the pre-Saharan valleys lived in the ksour.
So, the purpose of this application and present some pictures for these Kasba as well as to show the beauty of these earthen constructions.
