The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) – is a leading, international humanitarian displacement organization, supporting refugees and internally displaced persons in 40 countries. We provide protection and life-saving humanitarian assistance. DRC was founded in Denmark in 1956, employs 9,000 staff, and is supported by 7,500 volunteers in Denmark.
The Humanitarian Disarmament & Peace Building Sector of the DRC uses this application to map locations of events in Northeast Nigeria.
To use this application you must be authorized personnel to capture data in the most dangerous parts of Northeast Nigeria. Data capture is in 4 basic themes and you must belong to the appropriate department to access a theme. The themes include:
• WASH
• AVR
• NTS (can include Accident and Victim forms)
• EORE
This release allows the collection of geopoints alongside various attributes including pictures. Data capture is done in offline mode and must be sent to the server immediately after a good network connection is established.
