“Education is the business of serious institutions”
Every year since the establishment of the Science Classroom, which was founded in 1965,
with the success of their students in exams,
Dershanecilik degree in our country with Turkey has been one of the most prestigious educational institutions.
Science, which operates as the only branch in Istanbul-Beşiktaş,
By our founder Mr. Nazmi ARIKAN who is a Physics Teacher and Mechanical Engineer
After taking over in 1997, it opened new branches in 1999 in Bakırköy and in 2000 in Kadıköy.
In 2002, another branch was opened in Kadıköy.
Evaluating its experience in university preparation in preparation for high schools
First Science High School Preparation course was opened in 2002 in Bakırköy, Istanbul.
Until 2014-2015 academic year when the private teaching institutions were converted to Basic High School
Science Classroom across Turkey, including preparation for college preparatory high school and has reached nearly 80 branches.
Basic High School, Private Education Course in 2018-2019 academic year,
Anatolian High School, Science High School, Middle School, Primary School,
Science who continues its education activities in about 140 institutions including kindergarten
provides education service to tens of thousands of students.
Our philosophy;
The past shapes the future. Just as the future was designed, the past was written accordingly.
The education philosophy of the Schools of Science is based on the progressive education philosophy created by the educator John Dewey, well known in the national and international arena, which is attached to the foundation philosophy of the Village Institutes. The main goal of the Science Schools has been determined as the training of Life Creators who will ensure the continuation of the society and direct the change and development of the society.
In our schools, it is emphasized that students learn by doing and living and preparing them for life is to create life itself with the activities.
One of the important goals of our schools is to provide students with the necessity of a democratic society. Providing students to express their thoughts easily, and showing sensitivity to differences are among the priorities.
In our schools, every student is accepted as an individual and attention is paid to individual differences in cognitive, affective, and motion. Providing students to be aware of their differences and supporting their individual development are among the basic functions of education.
Instead of getting the information ready, students will adopt methods and techniques that will enable them to discover the information in the learning process.
In our schools, results and process-oriented assessment methods are used, which provide the most accurate assessment of students.
