BAÇEM, affiliated to Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department, was established in Burhaniye Börezli rural area in 2015 in order to carry out agricultural training and extension studies aimed at increasing the knowledge and awareness levels of the farmers during the identification, dissemination and evaluation of existing and alternative agricultural products in order to ensure economic activity in rural areas. It was established on an area of 114 decares. In 2017, the building and infrastructure works were completed and the landscaping was completed and started its activities.
BAÇEM supports farmers to increase their knowledge and awareness levels by providing various training opportunities related to plant breeding and olive growing, along with production.
