Created by the Archaeological Museum of Udine and Madpixel, Second Canvas allows you to explore selected objects from the high resolution collection of the Archaeological Museum of Udine. An opportunity to disseminate and promote the archaeological collections and the scientific activity of the Archaeological Museum of Udine, even to those who are not in a position to physically reach the Museum.
Main features of the Second Canvas app:
• Explore the works with very high quality images, with the possibility of appreciating the technical details of vascular and decorative production, thanks to the Gigapixel resolution.
• Discover the details and stories told on the surface of the vessels, being able to enjoy their entire development and not just a frontal view.
An opportunity to discover the stories, the characters, the symbols and the technique used to make the magnogreci finds collected by Augusto de Brandis and donated to the Museum in 1924.
• Share your stories on social media, using the details of your choice.
• Download on your device the details of the works and the associated stories to have them with you even when you are not connected or in airplane mode.
